Campus Garden
The Campus Garden (located between the A7 and A11), which covers an area of 108 square meters, is available to all students for gardening. Our program includes both hands-on projects and the cultivation of vegetables and flowering plants. In addition, participants can enjoy the harvest at the end of the gardening season.
The Computer Workshop
The workshop provides all the tools you need for the repair, and with a little luck, you’ll find exactly the part that’s broken on your device in the donation box. If not, we’ll be happy to advise you on what you need to get your computer working again. Of course, this service is free for students at the University of Oldenburg.
Die kleine Weltbühne
The AStA newspaper “Die kleine Weltbühne” is a student newspaper edited and proofread by the AStA, with articles written by interested students.
Students can come here for free with a broken bike (or other items) and repair them themselves. Tools, small parts (at regular retail prices), and used parts are also available here.
Anyone can bring food to the food sharing station and take some home for free.
The Culture Ticket offers discounts for cultural institutions and events in Oldenburg.
The AStA’s project funding supports ideas in the fields of art, culture, sports, science, and education and helps bring them to life—both through guidance and financial support.
Do you feel like playing sports between classes, after class, or whenever else, but don’t have the necessary equipment with you right now? Then you should keep an eye out for the newly installed sports boxes on campus.
Do you want to play sports with friends and save money at the same time? Then you’ve come to the right place! Thanks to a partnership between the AStA and University Sports, students can book University Sports facilities at half price.
The concept is very simple: You can leave an unwanted item on our shelf and/or take other items home with you.
The GEGENLICHT shows (at least) one movie every Wednesday during the semester. GEGENLICHT also offers themed film series and other events, giving you the chance to immerse yourself in the world of cinema. Admission to most screenings is 3€.
