Autonomous Department for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses
The Autonomous Department for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses represents the interests of all students who face disadvantages in their studies due to their disabilities. It campaigns for an accessible university and for equal rights for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses, and offers support during consultation hours for any problems encountered in everyday university life.
FemRef – Autonomous Feminist Department
The Feminist Committee works to highlight and eliminate discrimination, to provide safe spaces and sanctuaries, to create and maintain empowering programmes, and to promote feminist initiatives. It is elected by FLINT+ students.
HGAS – International Student Interest Representation
The HGAS represents the interests of all international students at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Every international student automatically becomes a member of the HGAS upon enrolment and has the opportunity to organise various events through the HGAS focusing on the social, cultural and political situation in their home country.

Independent Student Represenatives’ Department
The Student Representatives’ Department operates as an independent department within the AStA. Its officers are elected by the F3V (General Assembly of Student Representatives) and should, as far as possible, be politically independent. The Student Representatives’ Department supports the work of the student representatives and committees and facilitates communication and the exchange of information between student representatives, faculties and committees.
