Computer Workshop

The workshop provides all the tools you need for the repair, and with a little luck, you’ll find exactly the part that’s broken on your computer in the donation box. If not, we’ll be happy to advise you on what you need to get it working again. Of course, this service is free for students at the University of Oldenburg.

Consultation

In addition to repairs, we also offer consultation services. Is your laptop too slow, and are you thinking about buying a new one? Then you should definitely stop by first. We’ll see if you really need an expensive new laptop or if you can turn your old clunker into a new speedster with a few inexpensive new parts.

Recycling

Sometimes, though, even for the most reliable device, it’s too late to save it. If that happens, you can drop it off at our location. We’ll then see if we can reuse any parts or if everything can be recycled. With a little luck, your broken device will help someone else.

Loan Units

Sometimes things happen at the worst possible moment… and for moments like that, you need a temporary solution. If your laptop ever breaks down but you need a working one for your studies, feel free to stop by. We currently have four loaner devices available. You can borrow one until you find a replacement.
